Additional features include: an elevated boardwalk; an outdoor classroom overlooking wetlands; a state-of-the-art, nature-inspired playground; a picnic area; an event lawn; and lush landscaping. The park is currently undergoing a multiphase renovation that, once complete, will include nearly 5 miles of trails, as well as numerous overlooks and outdoor classrooms to take advantage of Leland's unique coastal wetlands.
